A boy named Gregor and his little sister Boots are in the laundry room of their apartment when Boots falls through a air grate, Gregor try's to stop her.he slips.next thing he knows he's falling down down down...and splat, huh this is a wired kind of heaven... he later found out that he was very lucky that some sort of air currents stopped him from going splat he didn't really under stand. They find themselves in a world where insects and rodents are as big as humans.well Gregor got him and his sister into this and he’s going to have to get her out (he still does blame his little sister after all she’s only two years old)
