This fantasy book is about a boy named James Henry Trotter who his mum and dad died when he was four years old. James moved in with his aunt Sponge and aunt Spike and lived a sad life because his aunties were treating him wrong. In the book something exciting happened and a giant peach grew in the backyard of his aunt's house. Then james went on an adventure without his aunties and was with six creatures.

What I liked about this book:

I liked this book because it was interesting and funny. I also liked the book because there was always something happening and making me want to keep reading.

What I disliked about this book:

The only thing I dislike about this book is that james got treated badly.
