This book is about a boy named Loku who had been forced to kill his tribes totum animal.Loku was hurt lying on the floor when he heard 3 men speaking in a cloud of mist Loku stopped and he noticed one of the voices coming from the men.The 3 men saw Loku lying on the floor Loku had thought they had come to help but they didn't they pick him up and threw him on there canoe  and they took Loku to a big dark cave and they told him  to pick up the spear in the canoe the 3 men wanted Loku spear his tribes totum animal they pushed Loku into the water and a shark fin raised up from he water Loku panicked  
and started to splash around and tried to get back up on the boat so Loku used his spear to make the shark go away but it just kept go back and forth so Loku threw the spear as hard as he could and it hit the sharks mouth. The shark swam away and Loku took his totum animal back to his tribe safely.

I recommend that other people should read this because its really short and interesting.
