Title: The famous five: five run away together. Book number 3

Brothers Julian and Dick, their sister Anne and their cousin George (who is a girl but never answers to Georgina and can do anything as well as any boy can) plus of course Timmy the dog are together once again in the summer holidays after coming home from boarding school. George’s mother is ill and her father goes to spend time with her, leaving the children  to be looked after by Mr and Mrs Stick, their whiny son, Edgar and their horrid dog, Stinker(whose real name is tinker but smells so bad the children call him stinker) . The Sticks turn out to be nasty( the five don’t know that the sticks are kidnappers/smugglers), so the children decide to get away from them and go and spend a few weeks by themselves on Kirrin Island, where their adventures continue. Until Timmy the dog spots stinker and alarms the others now the five know the Sticks are here but can’t figure out why.
